Job Details

Mission statement:    

Ensure support to the project management team in all quality related issues in the project to support project objective achievement in terms of quality, supplier & subcontractor quality, and customer satisfaction. Assists in assuring and controlling Quality with systems, tools, and teams to satisfy customer expectations while ensuring sustainable quality operations.

Your responsibilities:

  • You will assist the Local Quality & CI Manager in ensuring the Voice of the Customer is represented within the project for all quality matters during execution and ensure administration of VoC is done in agreement with Local Quality & CI Manager.

  • You will consolidate customer experience feedback and input for teams to support decision making and provide assistance to evaluating risks, problems and solutions from a customer/stakeholder point of view.

  • You will support the analysis of Lessons Learned (LL) / Transfer of Experience (ToE) from previous projects, Local Quality & CI Manager in collaboration with project team members to develop schedules, estimate, forecast, and budgets for quality activities and utilize Hitachi Energy aligned systems and tools to assist Local Quality & CI Manager and project functions during execution to meet operational and customer expectations throughout their lifecycle.

  • You will apply project quality procedures and plans and ensure appropriate implementation and compliance by the project team, assist in the implementation of effective internal controls (project, supply, and site) to verify that processes will meet customer and stakeholder requirements.

  • You will validate that control plans are applied and effective in mitigating known risks, support Local Quality & CI Manager to ensure compliance vs Project Execution Plan and administrate NCR’s and ITP’s. Support administration related to customer inspections and witness points.

  • You will support and administers audits on project delivery and ensures the use of analytics of Quality data from all parts of the operation to identify risks, failures and nonconformance within the local business, its suppliers, customers and support in following-up the resolution of corrective and preventive actions, ensuring a timely closure.

  • You will assist in providing quality training to Project teams enabling them to use, manage the appropriate quality systems and tools and administer quality trainings.

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality engineering or related field.

  • Previous experience in EPC projects preferred.

  • Experiences of quality assurance/control related assignments, experience in Project Management would be added advantage.

  • Familiarity of Suppliers and Site Inspection Test Plans (ITP), Master test Plan (MTP), Inspections, test procedures, Lessons Learned, COPQ, and T-NPS processes preferred.

  • Familiarity with 8D problem-solving tool, PDCA, 5W, L6S, FMEA and other quality methodologies preferred.

  • Knowledge of Quality standard of ISO 9001

  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage a large number of stakeholders.

  • Fully comfortable in the Microsoft suite (Excel, Access etc…) and Office 365 collaborative tools.

  • Great presentation and verbal communication skills in both Thai and English, TOEIC 500 and above would be preferred.
