Are you interested in building global services for gamers and content creators to stream video to millions of viewers? Are you passionate about creating unique and excellent live streaming experiences for people on any network, on any device, and in any place on the planet? Cool. So are we. We are Mixer.   On Mixer, we bring streamers and viewers together with the world's fastest and only truly interactive streaming platform. We’ve redefined the rules for live streaming by providing sub-second delays from streamer to viewer. With our "faster than light" low-latency video technology, we're empowering streamers and viewers to do things never thought possible. From the obvious: enabling streamers to respond to a chat message instantly, to the exciting: allowing viewers to interact directly with the gameplay, we build the technology for viewers to connect with their favorite streamers in ways that are deeper, more personal, and (most importantly) more fun. With your help, Mixer will continue to lead the industry with community-first features for streamers and viewers all over the world.

Mixer is looking for a Senior Media Service Engineering to help improve and scale our media pipeline to enable streamers to delivery sub second video around the world to their viewers. •           A strong desire to be part of an inclusive environment that helps grow and mentor other engineers

•           Ability to work across teams and evangelize across all levels

•           A deep knowledge of how design, build and monitor highly scalable and elastic services

•           Experience building zero downtime services with extremely long persistent connections

Highly Desirable:

•           Basic understanding of Audio and Video compression technologies (H.264, H.265, OPUS)

•           6+ years of professional development experience
