Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of internal and/or external advertising sales experience.
  • 2 years of experience in people management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS).
  • Experience in content production/management, service operations, and/or web development.
  • Demonstrated interest in improving user experience.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including presentation writing and delivery.
  • Analytically-minded, logical thinker with demonstrated problem solving skills.

Equally adept at working strategically as executing on our vision, the Sales Knowledge team strives to ensure Google sellers can find the right information in the right place at the right time, all the time. The Knowledge team sits within the Global Sales Tools (GST) team, responsible for leading sales tools strategy and operations. GST resides within the Go-to-Market Operations (GTM) team and enables Google’s Business Organization (GBO) to drive customer success by nailing the now and setting the path for the future.

The Global Business Strategy (GBS) team helps make Google's complex business organization run smoothly. The group drives core planning activities and develops frameworks to integrate global business strategies across the Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships organizations. Experts in both Google’s go to market organization and the industries where we compete, they drive strategic and operational improvements while working closely with Senior Leadership on a range of critical initiatives and projects. The GBS team is at the forefront of addressing the Business organization’s most strategic priorities, reporting and working directly for Google's Chief Business Officer.

Responsibilities
  • Grow and lead a team of knowledge Managers that oversee the global knowledge base.
  • Develop partnerships with cross-functional sales teams to craft strategy for the Global Ad sales knowledge supply chain.
  • Architect and oversee how we audit, manage and solicit content to ensure robust breadth and depth of content supporting key use cases driven by the business priorities.
  • Design, build and execute the knowledge management strategy across both platform and content, partnering with cross functional teams to ensure we are delivering the best content experience for the sales organization. 
  • Identify and lead new areas of development in advancing content management for the sales organization, including but not limited to sourcing channels/supply areas, content structure, management software, tooling needs, workflow integration and more.
