    Position Overview

Are you curious to explore and enhance how a wide variety of manufacturing equipment, ranging from small table-top 3D printers to state-of-the-art hybrid machining centers that cost millions of dollars, can be accurately driven to manufacture at their full potential?     Autodesk Manufacturing seeks a passionate and experienced Senior Software Developer to be part of a core platform team of smart and highly motivated software engineers who deliver the manufacturing platform that is the spine of the manufacturing solution.

    You will be working as a member of a strong development team, collaborating closely with team members in Denmark, US and UK. You will be working with product managers, architects, product owners, scrum masters, developers, quality assurance engineers and user experience designers, to collaboratively deliver changes that support the foundation of a strong platform.     Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, implement and maintain high-quality code for software enhancements and new products

    • Support customers and partners during Alpha/Beta phases to identify and resolve product defects

    • Produce clean, maintainable, well-documented code in adherence with internal standards

    • Troubleshoot and debug code in an efficient and systematic manner

    • Use performance analysis tools to test subsystems for optimal performance on multiple platforms

    Minimum qualifications

    • BS or higher in Computer Science (preferred), Mathematics, or Engineering

    • Experience in software development

    • +1 year experience with C++, ideally it should be your strongest language

    • Strong English verbal and written communication skills

    • Exceptional analytical skills, with an ability to learn, and a passion for solid code

    Additional Useful Experience

    • C++ libraries, such as STL, Qt, Boost

    • User interface design and development

    • Python and/or JavaScript

    • Git/Github

    • Cross platform development (Windows, Mac, Linux)
