Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst for its Jersey City, NJ location.
Duties: Lead application systems analysis and programming activities. Design, code, debug, and implement solutions on a Bigdata platform in support of consent order regulatory requirements in a banking organization. Resolve a variety of high impact problems and projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards. Perform application and systems performance analysis and troubleshooting for large scale applications. Collaborate with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals. Identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements. Handle deliverables for applications including SDLC deliverables, risk/issue management, and overall execution planning. Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards negotiating with external parties when necessary. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Five (5) years of experience must include: Designing and developing data warehouse applications in a Bigdata environment to collect, transform and standardize data from various source systems to support AML transaction monitoring solutions utilizing technologies including Talend Sqoop, Hive, Oozie, MapReduce and Yarn; Designing and developing generic configurable ETL framework using Spark, Scala, Python, and Unix Scripting that support end to end orchestration of data pipelines which can be leveraged across projects for AML monitoring; Performing in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards to resolve high-impact problems/projects including automation of regulatory reports, management reports and consent order programs; Optimizing and fine tuning ETL batch processes utilizing monitoring tools including Job tracker, Cloudera Manager and Unravel to ensure data loads and processing are completed within business defined SLA’s; Building an end-to-end Machine learning Operational pipeline to support development, experimentation, and continuous integration using CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Bitbucket, SonarQube and Blackduck for deployment of AI/ML models into higher environments; and Team management including estimation, task delivery, project tracking, status reporting and serving as mentor and advisor to mid-level developers. 40 hrs./wk.
