We're looking for a motivated and GenAI-savvy Software Engineer with 1-2 years of experience in Java and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate is curious, ready to learn, learns from mistakes, and is open to listening and learning from colleagues.
Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain software in Java based on the project's needs.
Utilize continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices to ensure quality and efficiency in our software development process.
Leverage GenAI capabilities to optimize software solutions and drive innovation.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Troubleshoot issues and bugs and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
Continually update technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house courses.
Foster a learning environment where mistakes are seen as opportunities for growth and improvement.
Actively seek feedback from colleagues and use it for personal and professional development.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 or more years of work experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in software development with Java and docker/Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Familiarity or experience with GenAI.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- A curious nature with a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Ability to learn from mistakes and apply lessons to future challenges.
- Willingness to listen and learn from colleagues to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 73,400.00 to 103,750.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
