What You Will Do:
Perform engine test data analysis; including data reduction, component and system performance evaluation and model updates leading to a data matched model.
Test planning and analysis of engine test data to assure compliance to performance and stability requirements
Help with closure of technical issues during engine test.
Coordinate component understanding with CIPTs
Work with Engine Design & Systems Integration Team (EDSIT) to quantify impacts of proposed design changes and make recommendations
Lead / perform trade studies on hardware and software changes to achieve requirements thorough development and evaluation of control schemes and schedules
Prepare and present results to EDSIT and SIPT
Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5+ years of experience. Or an advanced degree and 3+ years of experience
Off shift support required when at test.
Up to 10% Travel
Ability to obtain security clearance.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Active security clearance
Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering
Knowledge of cycle analysis, engine matching/performance, operability and test analysis integration with additional focus in one or more of those categories.
Experience in managing internal and external customers
Experience with Unigraph, NPSS, Matlab, Python, and iSight.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
