We are seeking a skilled and experienced QA Engineer with 5+ years of expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Behavior Driven Development (BDD), Cucumber, and Java. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of our software products by designing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive test strategies and frameworks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to define and implement quality standards.

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using BDD frameworks like Cucumber and programming languages like Java.

• Create, execute, and manage test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to ensure product quality.

• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, and ensure their resolution with the development team.

• Work closely with stakeholders to refine acceptance criteria and translate them into executable BDD test cases.

• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.

• Monitor and report test coverage, performance metrics, and overall quality trends.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in testing and quality assurance.

• Experience: 5+ years in QA with a strong emphasis on test automation.

• BDD Expertise: Proficient in BDD methodologies and tools, particularly Cucumber.

• Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or similar.

• Programming: Strong knowledge of Java

• Test Management Tools: Familiarity with Jira, Azure, or similar tools.

• CI/CD: Experience integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools.

• API Testing: Proficiency in REST/SOAP API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Rest Assured.

• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Basic Qualifications

• Candidate should have BE/ME/MS/M Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent.

PROCESS AND TOOLS

• Should be adaptable to the frequent changes and have worked in a highly dynamic agile development environment in at least one end-to-end large implementation.
• Should be process oriented and contribute to the continuous process improvements by identifying its inefficiencies and provide improvement recommendation and work towards successful implementation of the same.
• Should have worked extensively with tools such as JIRA, ADO.

INTERPERSONAL & COMMUNICATION SKILLS

• This role involves application ownership and the individual MUST be flexible to provide support during off hours, holidays and weekends to meet the project critical needs,
• This position involves direct interaction with the customers and technical team at US on a regular basis, candidate should have very good verbal and technical writing skills,
• MUST be adaptable and embrace to the frequent changes from each development iteration and be able to support continuously evolving requirements.
• MUST be adaptable in working with a highly dynamic team with constant change in priorities,
• Should be good at multitasking and be able to maintain balance between production support requests and development activities in parallel,
• Demonstrated ability to be a team player and willingness to lend a hand to others in team, assist them with challenges and be able to coach, guide and mentor junior members in the team.
• Position may involve short term international travels. Must be able to support the same with short notice.
