    Position Overview

    We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer who will play an important role in the technical development of important sales tools and business workflow applying data for decision-making. You will improve sales team productivity through creating future state best practices for business analytics. You will also define, design, and implement AWS/BI technologies and services to allow the analysis of data to support strategic programs and ongoing business requirements. You will create analytical reports and develop BI layer with resulting conclusions. You will work in a hybrid work environment based in Bangalore, India, and report directly to the Data Engineering Manager.

    Responsibilities

    • You will develop and implement data mining solutions to fit business problems

    • You will involve hands-on involvement in the design, development and implementation of optimal, scalable AWS services/BI solutions

    • Understand, implement and automate ETL pipelines with better industry-standard

    • Identify, design and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimising data delivery infrastructure for greater scalability, etc

    • You will develop, intergrate, test, and maintain all applications

    • Good working knowledge of Python, DBT.

    • Experience with how to design robust data workflows including optimization and user experience

    • Extract complex data from multiple sources into usable and meaningful reports and analysis

    • Perform ad hoc statistical and data mining analysis

    • Demonstrate experience in data modelling, scripting, and reporting user interface design

    • Creativity to go beyond current tools to deliver best solution to the problem

    • You will work with cross functional team to understand the data extracted from different applications

    • Apply statistical analysis techniques as required

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor or Master in Comp. Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, Statistics etc

    • 6 to 8 years with relevant data engineer experience is required

    • Advanced working SQL and No-SQL experience working with relational Databases (SQL/ORACLE/MySQL etc.,)

    • Strong in Big data concepts

    • You have experience in Spark and python, Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, SQLDBM, Atlan and Data band.

    • Experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Data pipeline/Glue, Lambda, Dynamo DB etc.)

    • Excellent data and statistical analysis skills

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with modern data architectures and cloud data warehousing solutions

    • Knowledge of data security best practices and governance frameworks

    • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker

    • Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for data engineering solutions

    • Experience with machine learning workflows and AI-driven analytics

    • Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes

    • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in Scrum teams
