We’re seeking a highly motivated Product Line Manager (PLM) to join our Network Security Product Management Team. This position is responsible for developing and improving our highly competitive line of network security offerings that are designed to protect corporate networks.

This position will have broad responsibility for working with the field sales to engage customers and drive our security business. The candidate must have proven ability and record to drive product requirements from definition to delivery for complex and dynamic network security space, engage with strategic customers, work with vendors and partners, and effectively interface with product marketing, product development/engineering, operations and finance.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on executing against our strategy of growing our network security solutions business.
  • Full lifecycle Product Management role (including inbound and outbound functions).
  • Work with cross functional teams to define and manage requirements needed to create, maintain or enhance our line of network security solutions.
  • Develop roadmaps, deliver detailed product requirements, and oversee the management of requirements backlog.
  • Contribute to quarterly business reviews.
  • Improve the usability and customer experience for our network security solutions.
  • Execute design programs to validate novel product concepts through customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Finance, other business units and to deliver against established corporate and business unit objectives.
  • Support marketing and sales teams via product training and in-depth market and competitor analysis.
  • Work closely with customer success and field organizations to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required Experience/Skills

  • Must have a background in delivering security products to the market successfully.
  • Good understanding of and experience with the full Product Management lifecycle for at least 3 years.
  • Must be able to define hardware and software product requirements, provide business justification through a formal plan, prioritize features and track progress.
  • In depth knowledge of firewalls, security services such as IPS, IDP, web filtering, antivirus, anti-malware, and software/hardware management is extremely valued.
  • Well versed in the Security Market with current trends, customer deployment models, monetization models and technologies
  • Experience with understanding product workflows to deliver superior user experiences to customers.
  • Adept at analyzing business results, forecasting, pricing, positioning and managing product transitions.
  • Comfortable presenting to diverse audiences, great collaboration and influence skills, high-energy personality to break barriers and drive an emerging portfolio.
  • Good understanding of integration with third-party security solutions and automation frameworks.
  • Experience with AI, analytics, SIEM, SOAR and XDR is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelors / Master’s degree with experience in enterprise network security solutions.

Other:

  • This position is based in Bengaluru, India and has a requirement for the individual to be based locally.
  • Must work from the office 2-3 days a week.
  • Must have the ability to physically host and attend in-office meetings as needed.
  • Travel is required for this position.
