The Platform Services and Emerging Technologies organization is seeking a highly motivated Infrastructure Software Engineer to build and support our on-premises and cloud platform infrastructure.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS and/or Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and Git Administration and will play a crucial role in automating and optimizing our development and deployment processes.     Responsibilities

    • Design, implement, maintain, and optimize cloud and on-premises infrastructure

    • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and reliable software deployment

    • Manage and optimize Git repositories to enhance source control workflows

    • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation

    • Continuously monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement

    • Ensure security best practices and compliance across infrastructure and deployment processes

    • Work closely with software engineering teams to integrate DevOps best practices

    • Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field

    • 5+ years of experience as a DevOps or MLOps Engineer, specializing in AWS or Azure deployment, monitoring, and operations

    • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or other relevant tools for automation tasks

    • Experience with Git and source control solutions

    • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation

    • Knowledge and experience with CI/CD best practices

    • Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance standards

    • Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

    Preferred Qualifications

    • AWS certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) or Azure certifications (Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Associate) are preferred

    • Experience with Spinnaker for CI/CD pipelines

    • Experience with GitHub Copilot Administration, including Rust, Bash, Ruby, or REST APIs
