Job Description

Primary Function/Objective:
The principal responsibility is to assure consistent sales achievement in the assigned territory by providing quality products and service, developing technical and selling skills to ensure customers' needs are met, and identifying opportunities for business within the territory while maintaining existing business.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide sales information monthly to support forecast development.
  • Work with the Sales Manager to develop and execute sales plans.
  • Implement product sales strategies to achieve sales goals and targets.
  • Utilize selling skills to meet customer needs and territory sales targets.
  • Communicate plans and results to Sales and Marketing Management.
  • Share market intelligence with management.
  • Attend marketing activities, conferences, health talks, exhibitions, and trade displays.
  • Execute all territory activities professionally and in compliance with AbbVie standards and Code of Conduct.
  • Maintain territory and customer records.
  • Attend regular departmental meetings for feedback.

Qualifications

Education Experience/Qualification:

  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience in relevant background
  • Experience in both self-pay and reimbursement markets; experience in dermatology or rheumatology is a plus.
  • Know business potential and capability to turn it into performance.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, including digital transformation, under aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment.
  • Build strong relationships across different functions and with external partners.
  • Strong professional knowledge, selling skills, and territory management.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and risk; make high-quality decisions with less-than-perfect information.
  • Leadership capabilities to tackle challenges and never be satisfied with the status quo.
  • Constructively manage conflict.
  • Act courageously and connect unrelated concepts to generate original ideas.
  • Good communication skills for effective interaction.
