Job Description

ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

Prepares business related analyses and research for Supply Chain, especially in Planning. The individual analyzes trends, forecasts related to Planning and uses the analyses to compile and prepare reports, graphs and charts of data and/or ensure efficiency.

- Analyze and plan material requirements by determining the quantity and date materials are needed to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Closely monitor Reorder Points and proactively initiate stock replenishment actions, ensuring sufficient material availability for customer orders.
- Effectively coordinate and manage the flow of materials across Purchasing, Warehouse, and Production departments.
- Systematically manage and control Material Change Management processes.
- Manage, monitor, and propose initiatives to significantly reduce Slow Moving Inventory, thereby minimizing the risk of Material Write-Offs.
- Manage and utilize the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system/tools efficiently.
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports on material shortage issues, urgent/expedited shipments (Air Shipments), and overall material status.
- Participate in and drive improvement projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency and automation of material planning processes.
- Analyze the historical data, market insight and hit rate to determine the incoming order trends, find out the abnormal cases with the demand team.
- Cooperate with other departments to achieve the target.               


Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking abilities.
- Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills.
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to interface effectively with cross-functional groups to define, communicate, and execute material requirements.
- Proficient in Google applications (especially advanced Google sheet/ Excel skills are required) .
- Data Analysis: Experience with or the ability to utilize data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or Business Intelligence (BI) platforms is a strong advantage.
- Aptitude for New Technology: Familiarity with or experience in leveraging AI/Machine Learning tools, willing to explore and implement process automation solutions.
