343 Industries is hiring an Associate Producer to join the Halo Publishing team. The ideal candidate will act as an integral link between internal and external development partners to help ensure that each product meets the quality and scheduling goals expected by 343 Industries

  • Facilitate communication with external development partners on daily production issues and help make sure that development tasks don't fall through the cracks.
  • Facilitate communication with key internal stakeholders to distribute builds for review, capture creative and technical feedback, and present feedback to developers and project producers.
  • Document and track upcoming deliverables from internal and external team members
    • Gather and coordinate milestone and development feedback with internal & External development teams.
    • Input and track deliverables using team tools
    • Coordinate with internal parties to review and approve deliverables from internal team members and from external partners
  • Work with internal and external partners and team members to resolve work stopping issues
    • Hardware needs, tools, documentation, access to necessary resources, etc.
  • Document current features for existing products and identify issues, bugs, and concerns based on personal experience (testing), input from the test team, and input from the community
    • Partner with internal team to review and prioritize the current bug list
    • Write specs for new features
    • Write specs for features that need improvement
    • Gather and organize community concerns and issues
  • Assist with Xbox and 343 teams to maintain a predictable flighting program for our products in development
  • Support Art/Design team to provide product and feature direction as needed
  • Localization support for products in development
  • Provide weekly status in writing for their area of responsibilities

A good understanding of games, with the ability to identify flaws in design, art, and "feel". Strong communication and writing skills, with experience communicating both creative and technical feedback. Good understanding of the game development process, from planning through release. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to juggle priorities and projects. This person must also build relationships within 343 as well as with external partners; delivering a coordinated effort on overlapping work and creating solutions were conflict arises.


Scrum Master Certification as well as previous experience using scrum & Agile methodologies with game development teams is preferred.
