Part of the wider Revenue Operations team, Global Process Owner (GPO) is responsible for driving process excellence, leading process transformation and continuous improvement and managing the tools and technology roadmap for the Facebook global collections function.

The GPO owns collections process optimisation & implementation globally. The GPO will be responsible for driving global standardisation through identification and implementation of automated collections programmes.

The GPO will partner closely with the regional collections managers to understand local nuances and requirements to build a strong global process framework.The GPO will also partner closely with Global Sales Group, Enterprise Engineering & Finance Transformation teams to develop best in class collections processes removing roadblocks and building scalable solutions.

The Collections GPO must possess a strong understanding of operational and financial systems and solid accounts receivable operational awareness.

This position will also be involved in a variety of cross-functional projects that drive operational efficiencies and enhance reporting and analysis for improved decision-making.

  • Develop the strategic plan and drive the global business process transformation roadmap for collections, encompassing process, tools, controls by collaborating across geographies and business units to harmonize process requirements
  • Partner with enterprise engineering to consider and test platforms/tools and system enhancements
  • Take a data driven approach to recommend solutions to improve collections process effectiveness
  • Enhance reporting and monitoring compliance with global and local policies
  • Align key stakeholders on the direction of the global collections process
  • Provide strong leadership and oversight over processes in a fast paced changing environment
  • Build strong collaborative working relationships with outsourcers and external business partners with a focus on driving efficiencies and improving levels of service
  • Measure and report on key performance metrics
  • Monitor process controls and oversee testing in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
  • Maintain and document relevant policies and procedures


  • 10 years+ international collection process experience
  • Experience as a functional business owner working with accounts receivable systems
  • Experience working cross-functionally with IT teams
  • Strong communication, with proven skills in consulting with internal business clients and external customers
  • Proven project management skills
  • Ability to think strategically and connect the end to end process to the strategy of the business
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with customers, partners and stakeholders across functions and geographies
  • Strong leadership capabilities evidenced by the ability to gain the trust of stakeholder, negotiate with influence and motivate a diverse group of stakeholders of varying levels
  • Ability to drive change and improve the end-to-end processes with a strong, proven track record in business process re-engineering and systems analysis
  • Demonstrated experience of data analysis, problem-solving and solutions development
  • Strong understanding of internal controls including Sarbanes Oxley compliance
