LendingClub is looking for an enthusiastic Product Marketing Manager who will partner with Product Management to craft compelling customer experiences, shake-up the market, and build on LendingClub’s position as the leader within the personal loans category. Reporting to our Director of Product Marketing, you will contribute equal parts product and marketing expertise to the role, combining good product instincts with strong marketing chops.

You’ll lead go-to-market efforts for new and existing products, design and run optimization tests, and craft awesome experiences that instill loyalty in LendingClub’s members. This is a high impact position within LendingClub, providing significant growth opportunity for a high-potential individual.

  • Develop and launch new products and features that drive customer engagement and new loan applications
  • Own the relationship between Product, Marketing, and Legal/Compliance teams
  • Be an expert on our customers’ needs to influence product priorities and build creative marketing campaigns
  • Develop messages that generate excitement among our target audiences and differentiate LendingClub from the competition
  • Analyze customer data to identify issues or areas for improvement and testing
  • Have a deep understanding of the competitive space and customer feedback
  • 4+ years relevant Product Marketing or Product Management experience, preferably in a consumer-based business (fintech is a plus)
  • Demonstrated expertise in positioning and messaging, product launches, or new product development
  • An energetic and helpful attitude—you love to jump in and make valuable contributions wherever you can
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communications skills
  • Metrics focused and comfortable with an iterative, test-and-learn approach
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional team members and lead through influence
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Bachelor's degree
