With excellent Google differentiation in data analytics and machine learning, security, application development and collaboration software, we’re well on our way -- but we need more people who can help us write and tell that story. If you’re as excited about building what’s next as we are, Google Cloud is the place for you.

As a Google Cloud Social Media Lead, you'll work cross-functionally to lead how Google Cloud communicates our latest news with customers and prospects as well as journalists, analysts and other influencers on social media channels. As part of the Content and Messaging team, you will lead editorial strategy and management of Google Cloud’s social channels across the globe. You will directly manage social media team members, providing direction and guidance while coaching and developing the skills and experiences of others. You’ll also work cross-functionally with Marketing, Communications, and Go-To-Market teams to lead the development of strategic social media and social selling programs that are based on customer insights and product needs, enhancing Google Cloud’s social presence, and achieving business goals.

Google Cloud helps millions of employees and organizations empower their employees, serve their customers, and build what’s next for their business — all with technology built in the cloud. Our products are engineered for security, reliability and scalability, running the full stack from infrastructure to applications to devices and hardware. And our teams are dedicated to helping our customers and developers see the benefits of our technology come to life.

  • Lead the development and implementation of creative social media content, social selling programs, employee and leadership activation, and measurement strategies.
  • Oversee the positioning, strategy, and development of content and programs for Google Cloud’s social channels, managing social media managers and designers to ensure we grow our awareness and engagement in key markets.
  • Partner effectively with editorial colleagues on the team and work cross-functionally to ensure content and campaigns created for Google Cloud’s social channels are high-quality, reflect our voice, and represent the Google Cloud brand.
