Facebook is searching for a procurement thought leader whom will work collaboratively with key stakeholders in Facebook’s Sourcing and BuyDesk, Procure-to-Pay, Contracts, Supplier Management, Legal, Finance, HR and IT teams to evaluate and drive organization, process and programmatic improvements for the Source-to-Pay (“S2P”) organization within Finance. This individual will lead key initiatives to develop and improve processes and programs for the shared business services that enable S2P to scale and transform such as category management, supply base optimization, vision and strategy, workforce planning, org. design, communications, talent management, and training. This role requires someone who thrives in a flat, fast-moving organization using lightweight processes, creative ideas and quick iteration to make a significant impact.

  • Strategic and Operational Planning: Understand strategic business objectives and requirements in order to facilitate operational improvement initiatives and new “greenfield” program development. Meaningfully contribute to strategic planning/roadmap development efforts to transform the S2P organization from a tactical to a strategic operation
  • Collaborative Relationships: Develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the company to strategically develop, implement and optimize processes and programs that enable the S2P operations to scale. Drive alignment around cross functional requirements. Collect and collate input from all S2P regions to ensure nuances, requirements and ideas are collated for all planning, design, controls and communications initiatives
  • Shared Business Services Transformation: Understand and evolve current S2P business processes and transformation programs to achieve improved efficiencies, resource optimization and controls. Identify areas of opportunity and lead initiatives to address gaps and improve performance. Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and the presentation of data, to see beyond the numbers, tell compelling stories with data, create business cases, and inform key S2P decisions
  • Talent Management and Communications Programs: Lead the design and delivery of S2P talent management, org. design, communications and training programs globally. Support S2P workforce planning and budget forecasting/management
  • Risk Mitigation and Controls: Collaborate with the Finance Risk and Controls Team and Internal Audit to ensure appropriate financial and risk controls are in place and well communicated in adherence with financial, sourcing and procurement policies. Design and manage process and policy governance plans for S2P

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.A. or B.S. degree in business, supply chain, procurement, finance or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in the areas of sourcing/procurement transformation, supply chain optimization, organization development, and/or process re-engineering
  • Experience in evaluating, developing and implementing operational improvements through process redesign, program design, technology, machine learning to enable standardization, compliance, scalability and velocity (e.g., Guided buying, BPO business case development/assessment, eSourcing, contract life cycle management, supplier performance management)
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of breaking down complex processes and identifying key pain points in order to deliver business improvements at local, regional and global levels
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with experience balancing multiple initiatives at once
  • Solid knowledge of best-in-class sourcing/procurement processes/tools/talent programs
  • Experience driving change and improving end-to-end processes
  • Experience flourishing and influencing others in an environment of fast growth and ambiguity

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
