As the Experiential Design Lead, you’ll apply your skills in visual design, art direction, choreography, and creative development to help ideate and lead the identity of some our largest business marketing experiences and activations around the world. You’ll work hand-in-hand with cross-functional creative and event teams to co-create the concept, look and feel, and packaging for world-class marketing experiences, as well as digital scalable assets to be used across our platforms and channels. In this role, you’ll collaborate on the conceptualization of major briefs and ensure high quality interactive design across our largest marketing programs tie cohesively together and manifests the new Facebook Company branding as innovatively as possible. You will be entrepreneurial in approach, with the ability to be an excellent storyteller and presenter. Your leadership will help influence how Facebook Company shows up in the world with our largest marketing partners, clients, and customers. You’ll work with other leaders on the team, as well as executives on the Global Business Marketing team to positively influence the evolution of how Facebook Company connects with people. You’re a builder, doer, and live to create experiences that align to our company mission: to build community and bring the world closer together.

  • Lead design, art direction, and creative concepts around how Facebook Company comes to life for both in-person events and virtual experiences on our platforms
  • Partner with design vendors, freelancers, and internal resources to bring your creative vision to life from ideation to execution
  • Partner with cross-functional partners on the Creative and Experiential team around developing creative briefs, scaling assets where appropriate, and authoring design standards for both in-person and virtual experiences
  • Build and implement design standards, lead design reviews with leadership, and create scalable solutions to ensure innovative, high-quality, and consistent design work across global experiences
  • Establish and refine global creative briefs
  • lead highest priority briefs by contributing creative concepts, art direction, inspiration and design
  • Scale experiential design to inventive, digital/mobile-first assets for social that innovate within Facebook Company on-platform mediums
  • Manage design direction, feedback, and next steps for design projects
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail on a variety of projects simultaneously throughout the creative and production process
  • Respond quickly to design challenges and feedback, and proactively anticipate business needs and scalable solutions

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in design or art direction applied to advertising and marketing experiences
  • Experience building a brand
  • Experience with 2D graphic development
  • Experience with motion graphics
  • Experience with experiential design
  • Experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Keynote and PowerPoint
  • Experience motivating design freelancers
  • Experience with brand marketing and building strategies
  • Experience uncovering consumer behavior and helping clients connect with customers

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
