The Team

The Australian Corporate Finance and Restructuring ("CF&R;") segment of FTI Consulting provides complete support in Business Transformation and Restructuring engagements for corporations, boards, lenders, creditors, and other stakeholders. The practice has a reputation for taking on challenging and complex assignments that require exceptional strategic and technical capabilities.

FTI Consulting's Perth CF&R; office is currently seeking a talented and high performing individual with 4-7 years' experience to join its team at Senior Consultant level. You will become a key member of the Perth CF&R; team in a fast-growing practice.


  • Act as appointed contact and manage day-to-day issues on engagements.

  • Reconstruct complex accounting records from incomplete information.

  • Perform interviews and participate in client meetings.

  • Undertake company and industry analysis.

  • Perform financial, ratio and comparable company analysis and financial and cash flow modelling.

  • Prepare draft reports, presentations and other written correspondence.

  • Assist in project planning and management of the duties of the junior staff.

    What you will bring:
    • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
    • Obtained (or at the final stage of obtaining) Australian recognised professional accounting qualification.
    • 4-7 years of professional restructuring/insolvency accounting experience (this role is suitable to candidates at Senior Accountant/Assistant Manager level).
    • Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
    • Strong report writing skills.
    • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
    • Detailed knowledge of accounting and general business principles.
    • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Adaptability in a fast paced and dynamic working environment
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle and analyse complex financial information
