    Position Overview

    Autodesk is award-winning Global Brand Communications team is looking for an Operations Manager to help our team scale and support our mission to curate and tell stories showcasing the best of Autodesk.  Reporting to the Senior Director of Brand Communications, this role will connect the dots across the team: public relations, executive communications, regional communications groups,  helping create and implement new ways to help streamline planning, creation, and delivery of compelling programs that consistently reinforce and evangelize the Autodesk brand. The ideal candidate is an exceptionally strong project manager with an acute attention to detail, a Jack-or-Jill-of-all-trades, who can work across the team to problem solve and implement new ways to help the team collaborate and maximize efficiency. You'll bring a fusion of left-brained and right-brained thinking to the table to drive impact. Your empathetic nature and problem-solving mindset will help you research and understand stakeholder needs. You'll then apply your creative thinking to design consistent, repeatable, streamlined processes that remove obstacles while providing transparency, ensuring stakeholders remain aligned and projects stay on track. Responsibilities - Lead overall operations, planning and program reporting for Autodesk's Global Brand Communications team - Work closely with Sr. Director of Brand Communications to set and execute against communications strategy for Autodesk - Partner with corporate finance to manage team budget planning process and spend with outside vendors - Plan team meetings including setting agenda, speaker selection, driving discussions, and ensuring action item follow-through - Develop and maintain systems for tracking and reporting progress against communication team goals - Develop and drive consistentcontent communications for internal stakeholders across Autodesk, through the development of email newsletters, presentations and other channels - Manage and maintain the global Communications calendar with upcoming events, announcements, media engagements and speaking opportunities. Minimum Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in program/project management or operations; preferably in the field of technology or similar face-paced industry - Outstanding organizational, planning, time-management, and process-creation abilities - A knack for driving people to deadline and holding teams accountable, with diplomacy - Ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize according to urgency and/or business need - Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills - Strong grasp of overall business strategy, marketing goals, and communications best practices - Ability to show courage in conflict and open others up to new ideas - Experience in communications, public relations, journalism, social media or related field preferred - Strong proficiency in team collaboration and project management tools including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, and Zoom
