    As a Principal Product Evangelist on Equinix’s Edge Metal Enterprise Marketing team, you are a storyteller. You are a skilled communicator who has a deep understanding of how our products, technology and solutions work, and loves to be on stage. And your first love is to work with customers as often as possible.

    This role can be remote or based in one of our office locations.

    What you'll be doing:

    • You’re our sales team’s best friend. You make sure they have everything they need to turn leads into sales and to do outbound prospecting. Battle cards, prospect ready videos, conversion tips and tricks, FAQs, product teasers, facts & figures, and other great funnel catalysts.
    • You’re the bridge between product, our customers, and internal partners, helping to ensure all the value we produce gets communicated to them in an authentic, savvy way. You turn features into stories.
    • You’re our rockstar on stage. You build videos, organize webinars and deliver demos as phenomenal performances to show the world how awesome our solutions are. Your face will be part of the invisible brand as you’ll be on the screen of our users as they onboard and use our products.
    • Sales will involve you as their secret weapon to bring in the largest deals using your wit and product expertise, wrapped in a great show. You can establish rapport with users of our service, and behave at the highest level when engaging with enterprise clients.
    • Video content, podcasts, customer interviews, and social media engagement are what you do every day. You live in digital media. Building your own radio show does not scare you. You can interview others and use your curiosity and empathy with other people to become the stars of the show.
    • Customers will remember your name. You’ll be the person they remember and want to see again. You get our community to love what we have to offer and become a community that engages with us. You’ll be leading a lot of our social media engagements with our digital audiences.
    • Your KPIs are growing “Engaged Advocates” (people who use, like and share using our product), conversions, ARPU and reviews of your events.

    What we expect from you:

    • Minimum 7+ years of experience creating and delivering in a fast paced environment.
    • Ability to demo, write, edit, and think creatively.
    • Aptitude to quickly come up to speed on B2B enterprise technology, and distill complex technical concepts into straightforward, compelling messages.
    • Curiosity and aim to understand the trends that our target audiences care most about
    • Demonstrated success at writing content for technical audiences. Ability to turn what could otherwise be dry, technical content into inspiring stories that captivate our target audience.
    • Highly motivated self starter with ability to develop a strategic vision and lead multiple priorities to drive results.
    • A team player with strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build positive relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams
    • Capacity to balance, prioritize and deliver excellent results under tight deadlines
    • Strong project management skills, ability to work across functional lines, and experience managing programs from conception to implementation to measurement/analysis.
    • Bonus if you’re able to independently crank out videos using either Final Cut Pro, iMovie, or other formats.
    • Requires contact with others (face-to-face, by telephone, virtual meetings, VOIP or otherwise) and working and interacting in a group or team

    Preferred, but not required:

    • BA degree
    • An excellent communicator, self-aware, transparent, collaborative, and open to feedback
    • Adaptable through constant change, and you embrace it. You’re agile and resilient. You move quickly and encourage continued improvement
    • Demonstrated working knowledge of Kubernetes and VMWare
