The Microsoft 365 Core Design Team in Oslo is looking for a passionate UX Designer to help shape the future of intelligence-driven experiences across the Microsoft ecosystem.  


Our primary charters revolve around intelligent People profiles, Content discovery, and Search & Assistant scenarios that are woven into the fabric of the core Microsoft 365 products. You will work across multiple disciplines and geographies, cultivating strong relationships with other Microsoft design stakeholders, and impacting the life of hundreds of millions of people around the globe.

  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver beautiful end-to-end user experiences across multiple screens and input modalities 
  • Deliver interaction designs and UI patterns
  • Deliver visual design assets and final art for development
  • Partner with Program Managers to deliver thoughtful design solutions
  • Design to high quality standards, follow processes, and deliver on schedule
  • Help develop and refine UI pattern libraries and design guidelines
  • Collaborate, create, and help the team deliver
  • 1+ years of relevant experience required. 
  • Must have strong interaction and/or visual design skills with the ability to design quality graphical user interfaces.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills. The working language is English.
  • Ability to self-motivate under deadline constraints. 
  • Have an understanding of current web technology, know the constraints, be willing to push the limits and apply creative solutions that result in great user experiences.
  • Proficiency in Figma or Sketch is a must. 
  • Ability to demonstrate and present an in-depth knowledge of fundamental design principles such as grids, typography, color theory, space, form, scale and hierarchyis.  
  • Motion design, prototyping and UI coding skills is a plus.
  • Be organized, detail-oriented and results-driven.

Portfolio review required 


Bachelor's or Master´s degree in Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design or related area required. A combination of education and experience may substitute for a Master´s degree.
