Corporate and Funding Technology is comprised of three primary areas: Operations & Risk, Corporate and Client Financing.


- Operations & Risk helps the Firm’s businesses while maintaining a strong risk profile. The group includes Operations, Funding, Finance and Risk Technology.
- Corporate improves our operating environment and is made up of Legal, Compliance & Corporate Governance, Digital & Corporate Communications and Human Resources Technology groups.
- Client Financing platforms provide technology and service to our hedge fund and Asia high-net-worth clients. Groups include Prime Brokerage, Private Wealth Management Asia and Counterparty Risk Technology.



Position Description:


This is an exciting opportunity for a Level 2/3 Application Support with an appetite for responsibility, hands-on technology exposure and daily challenge in a dynamic environment, which provides great personal development opportunities
The global Funding and Counterparty Risk Management Technology (FCRT) Production Management team within Quality Assurance and Production Management supports technologies provided by FCRT and used directly by the business.
FCRT is a business aligned technology group, that is responsible for all technology initiatives that encompass functions right from funding to liquidity -,Prime Brokerage Risk and Margin functions, Treasury and Cash Management, Repo & Stock Loan Sales & Trading, the firms mission critical Regulatory Reporting & Calculation systems and a number of cross functional groups like Collateral Optimization and Funding Optimization. 


Primary Responsibilities: 
- Maintain plant stability, manage capacity of the plant across using tools, and perform enhancement.
- Using automation simplify processes in Production environments
- Work with development teams to understand new changes being planned for deployment in Non-Prod environment, verify, and test those changes.
- Working with local and global development teams to collaborate in system, environment and plant improvement.
- Work on projects and initiatives within the global team to implement new strategies; manage events (infrastructure change, software releases, business continuity tests etc.)
- Acting as an escalation point from our level 1 group the level 2 team provides production management services including end user support, systems monitoring, ticket monitoring, incident and problem management, plant management and event management.
- Understand firm wide tools for build, configuration management, continuous integration, and deployment, and help development teams to adopt those tools
- Challenging existing practices to strive for continuous improvement


Required Skills:

- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong technical background in data modeling and databases, such as Oracle, Sybase and DB2 including SQL de-bugging and performance tuning
- Strong experience of Unix/Linux environment
- Comfortable with scripting such as Perl and shell
- Strong verbal and written skills required to interact with global teams and customers
- Good organisation and coordination skills
- Strong problem solving skills and an ability to learn rapidly on-the-job



Nice to Have:


- Knowledge of automation of daily tasks.
- DevOps
- Experience in technology within finance, investment banking.


Knowledge of French and English is required.
