Microsoft is looking for a full-stack developer for our Resource Scheduling team, part of the Customer Care Applications Group.


In the Resource Scheduling team, we build best in class scheduling experiences for our customers, providing a continuous set of capabilities from manual resource scheduling to completely automated task distribution. Our solutions serve as foundations for multiple broadly used business applications, that rely on scheduling capabilities, including but not limited to: Field Service, Project Service Automation and Customer Service.

As a Full-Stack Engineer on this team, you will get an opportunity to build highly scalable cloud services, work on the high performant data pipelines between the cloud apps, design the architecture and the topology of SaaS offerings, and build extendable and maintainable client side Experiences.

• Design, develop and maintain capabilities of large-scale services
• Collaborate with partner teams to deliver end-to-end systems and experiences
• Ensure availability, latency, scalability requirements are met in the system
• Investigate and prototype features with new technologies and frameworks
• Deliver features in agile and fast-paced environment with high quality


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of software development experience
  • 2+ years' experience in BACKEND (C#/C++/Java) development OR web technologies (HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript/TypeScript)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Experience in web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, React is a plus
  • Self-motivated and customer focused
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work in a dynamic/agile environment
  • A passion for improving engineering practices and producing high quality software
  • Expertise in developing large scale cloud services with performance, resiliency, telemetry and security in mind
  • Experience in building scalable web services and SaaS offerings
  • Experience in building backwards compatible RESTful APIs is a plus
  • Experience in geo-service integrations (like Bing/Azure/Google/Apple maps/HERE/TomTom)
  • Experience in building multi-tenant applications is a plus
  • Container and orchestration expertise (such as Kubernetes and Docker) is a plus
  • Experience with .NET technology stack is a plus
