  • Project Manager, your tasks may vary day-to-day but primarily will focus on best-of-class project management of cloud consulting engagements, including technical transformation, optimization, and configuration.

    To be considered for the position, Project Managers must have at least 3 years of client-facing experience and have worked on projects involving cloud-based infrastructure. The salary range for this position is $90-100,000 annually, plus benefits.

    Project Managers will have a high level understanding of:
    • Core concepts such as EC2, S3, RDS, Dynamo, Route53, CloudWatch
    • Concepts of the AWS Well-Architected Framework
    • Project Management Best Practices
    Specific Duties and Responsibilities
    • Participate in customer consulting sessions to understand customer challenges, technical needs, and business requirements.
    • Overall accountability of project scope, time tracking and ensuring completion of projects while maintaining compliance with standard processes, quality, schedule and cost objectives
    • Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout the entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline.
    • Monitor project progress and delivering status reports including, as appropriate, budgets, timelines, deliverables, issues, risks and action items to stakeholders and team members
    • Responsible for estimating, scheduling, coordinating, assigning resources, and assisting and recommending business solutions/alternatives for projects
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans derived from customer requirements and coordination with internal department leads and technical consultants and engineers to validate requested deliverables, resource requirements, internal goals and customer's identified priorities and milestones
    • Proactively track scope changes and effectively communicate changes and manage expectations while facilitating the change order process
    • Track project finances by ensuring project funding are secured and documented, creating cost estimates that are aligned with resource requirements, control and analyze project expenses through the project lifecycle to ensure appropriate funding and tracking that project margins are within acceptable levels
    • Create and update the documentation in project management or ticket tracking system to enable monitoring of resource time and support project invoicing
    • Manage relationship with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders
    • Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
    • Collaborate effectively with client, organizational stakeholder(s), technical leads and external vendors and/or partners to support the successful project delivery
    • Work with Mission service delivery leadership and sales resources to scope work efforts for project services.
    • Work with a diverse team and globally located customers
    Required Skills
    • AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
    • Extensive leadership experience and strong teaming abilities
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Successful experience with building and managing of project budgets inclusive of change order management
    • Experience managing projects to on-time, successful completions as viewed by both the external and internal customers
    • Minimum 3 years of management experience in technical consulting, including direct management/interactions with customers
    • Ability to work in a multicultural environment
    • Analytical skills to assist in the resolution of complex issues
    • Ability to provide high-level support for customers
    • Ability to estimate effort to complete tasks
    • Ability to plan, organize, schedule, document and manage activities
    • Able to troubleshoot issues independently or escalate when necessary - a sense of accountability and sound personal judgment
    • Excellent oral/written communication and organization skills
    • Passion for technology and continuous education
