  • We are seeking an experienced VP of Product Marketing to join our team and help us transform how we help individuals and organizations develop new technology skills. Reporting to the EVP and GM of Skills, this person will lead teams of experienced product marketers and pricing experts to create a holistic Skills story, message, and value proposition that will be shared with the market. This leader will partner with product leadership to deliver on defined go-to-market outcomes, create user and buyer personas, evaluate the competitive landscape, quantify market needs, and communicate a product vision and roadmap to sales, customers, and the market. The VP of Product Marketing will also build and execute a pricing and packaging strategy that meets customer needs and enables us to capture market share. This leader knows how to partner with marketing and sales to generate demand for products and services. The ideal candidate has a persuasive communication style, outstanding business acumen, and deep empathy for our customers.

    What you’ll own:

    • Define and execute a pricing and packaging strategy that helps us win in the market
    • Communicate a clear Skills story and value proposition
    • Develop sales plays our sales team can easily use to build pipeline for the Skills product
    • Quantify and validate market demand for new products and customer jobs to be done
    • Build user and buyer personas
    • Partner with Revenue leadership and Sales Enablement to ensure our account executives and customer success managers clearly understand the Skills product and value proposition
    • Collaborate with marketing to ensure positive return on investment on variable marketing spend and pipeline generation meets and exceeds targets

    Experience you’ll need:

    • Experience influencing cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to successfully launch new products, including a broad range of experience across sales, marketing, product management and engineering.
    • Proven ability to utilize sales plays and effective marketing spend to generate pipeline
    • Deep understanding of B2B SaaS business model and the ability to effectively collaborate on sales conversations
    • You understand how to get the best from people and you have built successful teams and organizations from the ground up
    • Executive presence and gravitas including onstage presence
    • Ability to inspire and align teams located across the globe
    • The successful candidate has experience leading leaders of leaders
    • Comfort with shared accountability for go-to-market outcomes, including billings growth
