The Dynamics 365 Finance team specializes in best in class solutions enabling businesses to run their end to end financial operations for the Dynamics 365 line of Enterprise Resource and Planning (ERP) in a Mobile-First/Cloud-First world.  Our goal is to enable managers and finance professionals to effectively run their business using the Dynamics 365 products! 

 

As part of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance product, the Finance team delivers a complete solution that targets the increasing demands of midsize and enterprise companies. Dynamics 365 Finance integrates several Microsoft technologies, including Power BI, Power Automate, Azure Form Recognizer and AI and machine learning,  to create a large-scale, intelligent application. 

 

The team consists of highly motivated, innovative, customer-focused program managers and engineers. We’re optimizing our engineering for the cloud-first with a faster cadence of releases to deliver innovation at an exciting pace. Our team works in an agile start-up like environment where we expect each team member to think out of the box to contribute and collaborate towards the mission of the team in a feature-crew setting. Responsibilities
  • You will own and drive end-to-end experiences and solutions as a Subject Matter Expert in Accounts payable or Cash management.
  • You will understand the competitive landscape, gaps and differentiators for your ownership areas.
  • Help drive a strategic plan for owned area as well as for the product.
  • You will understand and connect with our customers, knowing their businesses and scenarios to drive improvements and functionality into the product.
  • You will know the service health of your area, work closely with engineering and communicate and drive change needed to have a healthy and scalable service.
  • You will support our customers and help the community with readiness, through documentation, blogs, presentations and collaboration.
  • You will work closely with customer support and our engineering teams and share customer needs and prioritize work.
  • You will be innovative in processes and design, think strategically and be thought leaders daily.
  • You should have a passion to learn and grow, and fail fast.
  • You will understand our customers top requests and what our competition is doing both in their strengths and weaknesses.
  • You will work in a diverse and inclusive environment where feedback is desired to constantly learn and improve.

 

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of product management experience in cloud software companies with a proven track record of delivering successful and scalable solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting and using accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, Workday, Dynamics Finance, JD Edwards, and Sage
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Relevant undergraduate degree; CPA or Chartered Accountant preferred.
  • Customer and executive facing experience.
  • Previous experience of working closely with designers to build building great user experiences 
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and critically about product features, architectures, and capabilities coupled with excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills through all levels of the organization, technical and non‐technical. Native or professional fluency in English 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
  • Multiple years using or developing accounting software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt quickly to new technology and process
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for effective internal and external relationships
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Technical curiosity and aptitude
  • Strong analytical aptitude and track record of problem solving and using pilot programs, prototypes and growth hacking approaches
