Employment: Full Time Experience: Senior

This position will be responsible for design, configuration and implementation of activities related to corporate collaboration technologies as required. This includes design, engineering, implementation and support services for Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Lync/Skype, Office 365, and Microsoft Windows and Active Directory.

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
  • Implement and support Collaboration Systems technology & solutions for Paramount/Viacom
  • Provide 24x7 Systems support including project management, operation, expansion, and maintenance of all equipment within the Paramount and Viacom Collaboration domain
  • Monitoring and support of Viacom global Collaboration and related security services issues in and out of hours, resolve complex system and network issues and outages
  • Provide engineering support to the migration of email services from on premises deployments of Microsoft Exchange to Office 365
  • Maintenance and administration of all Collaboration infrastructure systems and equipment
  • 3rd line support of all Viacom Collaboration infrastructure
  • Engineering and execution of production change following corporate change management policies
  • Strong ability to work with 1st and 2nd line support teams to transition knowledge and participate in continued development of operational efficiencies
  • Design, manage and implement new Collaboration solutions
  • Technical documentation on Collaboration migration and implementation
  • Keeping all documentation accurate and up to date
  • Periodic update of support procedure and technical documentations
  • Periodic review and upgrade system firmware, application software
  • Working with vendors and 3rd party partners to enhance existing infrastructure and develop new solutions
  • Management and coordination of vendor and 3rd party support and escalations
  • Works independently and exercises reasonable judgment with little supervision while providing clear evidence and results of activities and accomplishments
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 years relevant experience in the collaboration systems space, including Office 365
  • BA/BS Degree OR equivalent experience
Additional Qualifications
  • 4-6 years’ experience in large corporate Collaboration environments
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience and solid understanding of Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Cloud Collaboration solutions, Microsoft Windows, and Active Directory
  • Specific experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 2012, Exchange 2010, Exchange 2016, and Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications and solutions is required
  • Specific experience with Lync 2010, Skype for Business 2016, and Skype for Business 365. Particularly as it relates to integration with voice and unified communications.
  • Architectural and senior level understanding and experience with Office 365 solutions is highly desirable (including but not limited to Exchange Online, Skype for Business, OneDrive, Teams, Groups, and Sharepoint Online).
  • Strong experience with management of email hygiene products. Cisco Ironport and Microsoft EOP specifically but any comparable product and/or service.
  • Strong experience with Powershell scripting as it relates to Windows and Exchange/O365 automation is a must (analyzing, modifying, and creating new)
  • Experience with email security concepts and technologies (Encryption, TLS, advanced threat protection, SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
  • Experience in large scale enterprise project management
  • Experience in solution lifecycles (design, POC, deploy, operate, migrate)
  • Familiar with Agile project management methodologies
  • Experience with both change and incident management
  • Must have a basic understanding of network and distributed computing environments
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that include the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written form
  • Strong team player and ability to work effectively with cross functional team members
  • Strong business acumen, organizational, analytic and problem solving skills.
  • Strong ability to analyse issues and challenges and propose achievable solutions
  • Good time management with an ability to work on a number of projects and BAU tasks concurrently setting own agendas and effectively prioritizing work
  • Strong enthusiasm and passion for technology
  • Demonstrates consistent thoroughness and attention to detail
  • Ability to generate and implement procedures
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • Understanding of LINUX and UNIX based operating systems is a plus
  • Networking experience, including LAN, WAN and SAN is a plus
  • Experience in Media and Entertainment is a plus
  • Experience in working with onshore/offshore environment is a plus
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework and ITSM principles a plus
