Job Role and Responsibilities

  • As a product managerforVMware Edge Network Intelligence, you will be responsible for developing and driving our product strategy for analytics, self-healing, WLAN/LAN visibility,SD-WANand SASEuse casesintegrations.

  • Closely partner with engineeringand UXto keep track of roadmap execution

  • Direct engagement with sales & partners to understand their needs as well provide additional product support & training

  • Understand and tailor the offeringto our different routes to market (RTM)

  • Ability to also perform market development with early adopters, evangelizing the product to potential customers and partners

  • Drive our efforts in defining and executing strategic technology partnerships

  • Perform competitive analysis and market research to guide product planning

  • Responsible forpricing and packaging, and any ongoing structural changes to maintain competitiveness in the market 

  • Working effectively across functional and business unit boundaries

  • Work with product management, engineering peers to deliver solutions and identifying new opportunities to improve VeloCloud products and culture.

  • Fluent with networking & security solutions for enterprise access solutions (WLAN, LAN, SD-WAN, security)

  • Natural skills interacting with customers as well as sales

  • Leadership abilities and capability to convince othersand clearly articulate ideas 

  • Deep domain & industry knowledge in the Networking space

  • Experience with development and launch of Enterprise products, and effective in afastpacedenvironment 

  • Effective at prioritizing, time management, and a natural self-starter 

  • 5+ years of product management experience in theEnterprise space

  • Prior experience in engineering, technical marketing or product marketing is useful as well.

  • BA/BS in Computer Engineering or related field; MBA or graduate degree a plus
