PowerToFly, the fastest growing platform for enterprises to find women in tech, sales, and marketing, is looking for a unique individual who can combine their customer service and content expertise to help exceed our customers’ expectations.

We’re looking for a Content Specialist to take the lead on serving our clients (both SMB and enterprise). The role will be responsible for client retention and absolute delight when it comes to content planning, strategy, and delivery, as measured by content performance metrics, low churn/high retention, platform adoption and usage, and upsells.

This is a hands-on role that will lead all post-sales customer planning for our brand-awareness product and they will play a key role in customer satisfaction and timely content delivery. The position reports to the Director of Customer Success and will work across all internal teams to represent client interests.


  • Ownership of overall post sales client success as it pertains to content
  • Build and nurture relationships across accounts to solidify our partnership
  • Develop an understanding of churn and how to prevent it. Champion and effect change in each of the relevant functional groups to reduce churn and maximize the LTV of the customer
  • Work with the delivery and marketing teams to define KPIs for product success
  • Leverage understanding of content and digital marketing to advise clients on best practices, advising on and implementing a holistic content strategy that addresses the client’s DEI goals
  • Guide clients through the entire content creation and delivery process, actively soliciting feedback for the marketing, delivery and customer success teams
  • Manage operational/admin components for renewals, customer satisfaction and customer adoption metrics
  • Ensure any account issues are resolved quickly, leveraging resources from across the company as needed

  • Great attention to detail - you have very high standards for quality and won’t let any content be delivered to clients without ensuring it’s been proofread, and proofread again.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, administrative, and organizational skills.
  • Skilled writer and editor—you relish finding (and fixing) typos, and have a strong understanding of brand voice, content strategy, and storytelling.
  • Excited by the fast pace, opportunities for growth, and ambiguous nature of a startup environment.

  • Past experience working in digital marketing as a content creator—you understand what it takes to create good content, and you know what good content looks like.
  • Experience conducting interviews for content creation (videos, blog posts, etc.) — you know how to prepare interesting questions, encourage others to share compelling stories, and turn that information into great content.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage customer accounts in conjunction with sales organizations.
  • Experience in working with or in Fortune 1000 companies.
  • Experience with SaaS.
  • Proficiency using Salesforce.
  • Understanding of the recruiting industry.
  • Sales experience.
  • Writing/editing expertise.
