The ILDC (Israel Development Center) Education team is using data to drive insights which improve student learning outcomes. With hundreds of millions of students learning remotely due to the pandemic, our ability to connect educators and learners via data about their digital engagement, skills, academic growth and social and emotional aspects is crucial to schools and districts worldwide. The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly accelerated the shift in education, and the opportunity after the pandemic will be greater than ever.

Responsibilities

We are looking a Principal Group Program Manager (GPM) to help drive the product forward. The ideal candidate would be an experienced product manager, independent and self-starter, passionate about the education space, with proven ability to define the business goals, vision and roadmap, advocate for the product with customers and partners, mentor other PMS, and preferably with experience in end-user facing services, education and data.

Qualifications

 

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

- A positive, “can-do” mindset, and a team-oriented personality that encourages others to deliver their best.

- Independent, quick learner, capable of making decisions in an ambiguous environment. Able to fail and learn.

- Takes initiatives proactively, drives and gets the team to deliver results.

- Ability to develop and deliver business plans including goals, target audiences, opportunity assessment, competitive evaluation and business model.

- Strong customer connection and empathy

- Good understanding of technology

- Experience with end-user facing experiences is a significant advantage.

- Experience with data, big-data, machine learning or BI is a significant advantage.

- Experience with education, education technology and/or behavioral sciences is a significant advantage.

- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Product Design, Business Administration, Engineering or a similar / related field or equivalent work experience.

- 10+ years of experience in product management or related field.
