Position Summary

The Orchestration Senior Consultant will be part of a multi-disciplinary team developing the Future of Work transformation strategy for the Deloitte U.S. firm, considering changes in the work, the workforce and the workplace. The Senior Consultant will help orchestrate the Future of Work program that is assisting Deloitte’s businesses—Consulting, Advisory, Audit, and Tax—with structuring and executing their individual Future of Work transformation objectives.

The Senior Consultant will interact with senior leaders in the firm and will assist in various top priority projects with potential to significantly impact our organization.

Work you’ll do

As a Senior Consultant, you will help orchestrate the Future of Work program: implementing the Future of Work strategy, connecting dots across the business, and tracking the success of the program. The Orchestration Senior Consultant will have familiarity with large transformations and will understand the impact of digital transformation on an organization – across work, workforce and workplace.

In your day-to-day work, you will have a variety of internal client-facing responsibilities including:

  • Managing the portfolio of Future of Work initiatives, understanding status/risks and identifying connections/areas for alignment
  • Maintaining key frameworks, methodologies and tools for the program
  • Tracking the success of the program
  • Serving as a central point of contact and knowledge base for program leaders and team members
  • Onboarding new team members
  • Collaborating and developing effective working relationships with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders
  • Developing executive level presentations and reports

 


Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prior experience in Orchestration or Program Management for top tier company and/or with top consultancy
  • Well-organized with the ability to handle several projects/clients simultaneously
  • Ability to synthesize large sets of information, extract insights, and develop recommendations
  • Able to connect dots across different components of a large transformation program
  • Strong technical skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and supporting technologies like Teams and Zoom)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and team building skills
  • Limited travel (While up to 25% of travel may be necessary for the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

  • MBA/MS/MA or other relevant advanced degree(s) from top tier program
  • 4+ years of Program Management or other Orchestration consulting experience, including programs with multiple stakeholders and work threads
  • Ability to succeed in both team-based and independent environments
  • Strong client presence with experience collaborating and facilitating
  • High level of proficiency in developing executive level communications and presentations
  • Client service mentality and ability to develop high degree of trust with key internal client base
  • Professionalism, maturity, energy for driving change, creativity and empathy are all key attributes for success
