Your Role 
The purpose of this role is to ensure mandates are in compliance with their regulatory and contractual restrictions.

 

You will be responsible for: 

  • Working closely with ETF Product and Legal Teams to ensure that Invesco ETFs are launched with robust controls for their investment restrictions. 
  • Contract analysis of Invesco ETF investment restrictions sourced from Prospectus and regulations. information for coding requests to offshore teams from this analysis.
  • Working closely with the Front office to resolve pre-trade violations.
  • Documenting account restrictions in the investment restriction system database. Performing periodic reviews of restrictions.
  • Rule sign off for coding requests coded by offshore team
  • Oversight of post-trade monitoring. Liaising with global compliance teams on breach resolution and reporting.

The skills and experience you’ll bring 
You will:

  • Have ETF Product knowledge and in depth knowledge of UCITs ideally Irish UCITs
  • Show experience of collaborating with front office teams
  • Have experience of pre-trade and overnight guideline monitoring. Charles River or Aladdin preferred
  • Be able to interpret restrictions from ETF prospectuses and EU Regulations
  • Have experience in investigating post-trade violations 
  • Have proven experience of how to escalate breaches and implement a robust control framework
  • Be able to work effectively with offshore teams

  • Can build strong relationships with front office staff
  • Is able to work to strict deadlines
  • Has strong verbal and written communication skills and is highly organised
  • Remains calm under pressure
