Do you thrive in collaborative, creative environments? If so, then the Marketing and Consumer Business (MCB) Community Team is the team for you. The MCB Community Team is creating a development program for Microsoft Store employees who want to start their corporate careers in the Marketing and Consumer Business. These employees will join a new track in the Accelerated Connections and Experiences (ACE) Program. The “Store to ACE” Program Manager will help hire top talent from Microsoft Stores, and provide them with real-world career experiences, coaching, and focused training to hone their marketing, sales, and business acumen, and increase their impact today and in the future.

Store to ACE is a two-year development program for full-time marketing and sales employees hired directly from Microsoft Retail Stores. It enables personal and professional growth for its participants through focused training, coaching, community activities, as well as exposure to leaders.

The Store to ACE Program Manager will be the key engine behind the program’s operations and infrastructure, and will use their strong collaboration and project management skills to develop, run, and manage participants’ end-to-end experience.


Primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Partner with team leadership to develop the Store to ACE Program – objectives, rhythm, policies, culture, employee development opportunities and more
  • Own and drive all recurring program processes, including hiring assignments and community events.
  • Continuously look for ways to simplify and drive process improvements/efficiencies.
  • Establish a trusted advisor relationship with program employees, managers, leaders and other stakeholders.
  • Lead communications with program audiences (employees, managers, business management teams, leadership) – written and presentations
  • Partner with Microsoft Recruiting in hiring top Store talent.
  • Partner with HR to drive rewards, promotions and employee relations conversations.
  • Partner with Finance to drive financial planning, budgeting and tracking of the ACE program.
  • Partner with other employee development programs to ensure alignment across Microsoft.


  • 5+ years demonstrated program management, program execution, or operations management experience
  • 3+ years of project management skills such as creating workbacks, organizing events, creating and executing programs communications, calendar management, and/or stakeholder management
  • Strong public speaking and written communication skills, with ability to communicate with audiences of varying sizes and seniority
  • Must be a self-starter and have demonstrated capability to lead and be a strong contributor
  • Strong influence and collaboration skills, including a track record of working effectively with Gen Z employees and senior executives
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • Passion for developing early-in-career talent
  • Experience cultivating employee culture and connection a plus
  • Experience working in marketing a plus
  • Curriculum design a plus
