It’s hard to put a price on driving human progress, but when you’re operating in a competitive business environment, you need innovative pricing strategies. Our Pricing team is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating these strategies. We conduct research and competitive pricing analysis and monitor the ongoing business environment to ensure Dell maintains a competitive market position.
Provides strategy and direction to a divisional function made up of a team of managers across a geographic region, product line, or technical discipline through second-level managers.
Develops and implements all operational policies, goals, performance standards/metrics and budgets.
Accountable for customer satisfaction, services, programs, managers/employees for assigned area of responsibility.
Decisions impact across functions, are based on cost/benefit analysis for the function within the division or globally.
Operates in matrix environment. Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.
Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance of, others in sensitive situations.
Typically 14+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Typically requires 7+ years diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization and people motivation skill (or equivalent experience)
Ability to lead, motivate and direct a work group.

Financial and analytical experience
Highly skilled at directing management teams to fulfill a strategy
