Job Description

Do you have a passion for building applications with web technologies? An agile mindset, continuous improvement and solid software craftsmanship are built into your DNA? We are looking for passionate Front-End Web Engineers to join one of our cross-functional product development teams.

We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include working closely with the UX team to implement visual elements and their behaviors with user interactions. You will work with both front-end and back-end web developers to build all client-side logic.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new user-facing features

  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use

  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

  • Constantly improve code quality

  • Write unit and integration tests

  • Be open to learning and personal growth through mentoring and e.g. code reviews

  • Work within an agile software development environment

Skills and Qualifications

  • Computer science degree or practical experience that equates to a similar technical foundation

  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML and CSS

  • Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance

  • Advantageous is a good understanding of TypeScript, ReactJS and state management in React

  • Advantageous Experience with techniques for unit and integration testing

  • Familiarity with Webpack, Yarn and other front-end build tools

  • Experience with Git or other tools for source code version control

  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
