The NA CSB Marketing organization is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of all marketing strategies, communications and initiatives that generate demand to hit the quarterly / yearly financial plans. This includes Consumer, Gaming, Small Business and Retail and encompasses driving calls to the call center and visits to dell.com, foot traffic to retail, and more, resulting in revenue, unit and margin attainment, as well as driving brand awareness with best-in-class creative and media planning.
The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and lead strategic projects across the Consumer, Gaming, Small Business, Retail, CRM and Partner Marketing functions. This person will work closely with cross-functional areas and stakeholders (e.g. Marketing, Merch, PR, Creative, Planning, Online) to ensure full alignment and all key business goals are met.
Own strategic project development and see through to implementation
Manage project work streams and accountability to all deliverables
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope and execute plans
Develop comprehensive plans to reach target segments and deliver on key KPIs
Identify process, technical or other marketing gaps and create innovative solutions to solve
Analyze relevant data to drive data driven recommendations and decisions
Communicate objectives and progress with leadership and stakeholders
Play a key role in the on-going transformation of CSB marketing
10+ years of experience in marketing with a track record of measurable results preferably in the consumer electronics or IT industry
Strong Direct & Retail marketing capabilities with deep experience (10+ years) in developing marketing strategies
Deep knowledge of Marcom processes, channels and vehicles
Strong analytical skills
Strong project management skills with an organized and capable nature
Proven ability to plan and prioritize workloads and measure progress
Strong sense of urgency with the ability to drive issues to closure despite obstacles
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, remain positive and calm
Appetite for driving innovation and change
Ability to work independently, quickly and thoroughly under multiple deadlines
Good organizational agility and interpersonal skills to work effectively across functions
Experience in working with agency resources
Ability to manage through ambiguity to drive results
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration. MBA degree in Marketing or Business preferred.
Balanced Experience in RTB marketing functions in more than one key market/region and Global Strategic functions
