Talent Acquisition Manager

Develop and lead hiring initiatives to meet talent acquisition goals for CB Insights.   

As part of the Recruiting Team at CB Insights, you’ll be responsible for our most important asset – its people. CB Insights is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to support the recruiting team in finding talent, building a strong employer brand and ensuring great relationships with both candidates and employees. To excel in this role, we are looking for someone who is experienced in full-life cycle recruiting and employer branding. 

The day to day duties include coaching, leading and developing the recruiting team to ensure we deliver on our promise of bringing the very best talent into the company in the shortest time frame possible.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage recruiting team and develop consistent recruiting strategies across CB Insights
  • Develop talent acquisition strategies in partnership with Director of HR
  • Lead employment branding initiatives
  • Leverage metrics and data to drive performance, identify areas of improvement, and proactively share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders
  • Execute customized full cycle recruiting for a variety of mid to senior level roles at CB Insights
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the best possible recruiting outcomes, candidate experience, and new hire retention. 
  • Develop and execute creative recruitment strategies by sourcing passive candidates through multiple channels (i.e. blogs, job boards, business networks, etc.)
  • Oversee recruiting team’s candidate activity in ATS (Greenhouse) and become a subject matter expert in the utilization and optimization of the ATS and other tools leveraged in the recruiting process
  • Organize and attend events that will connect you and the recruiting team directly to potential talent
  • Partner with Marketing to develop and implement employment branding communication plan

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of professional experience in talent acquisition and/or talent development
  • 2+ years of leadership experience required
  • Impeccable process skills and best practices in all areas of recruitment
  • Creative thinker that can create the red-carpet experience for employer branding, candidate experience, interviewer training, diversity hiring, internship programs, hiring metrics, sourcing strategies, events, and more. 
  • Expertise in various recruiting strategies, methodologies and techniques (i.e. social media, targeted networking, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills
  • Proactive with a get sh*t done attitude
  • Team player and desire to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Proficient in an ATS (Greenhouse preferred), MS Office, and Google Apps
