Your profile

  • A minimum of  a Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar

  • Candidates with a minimum of 8 years of proven experience in a Transmission and Distribution industry will be considered for a level 6 position. Candidates with 10+ years of experience may be considered for a level 5b position. 

  • Experience building and maintaining customer relationships, engineering, proposals, contract management, and finances in the electrical industry specifically instrument transformers, coils and reactors.

  • Experience working on sales teams with successful growth

  • Ability to travel as business requires.

  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

  • As a federal contractor, Siemens Energy continues to monitor federal and state legal guidelines regarding the COVID-19 vaccine mandate. Your responsibilities

  • Lead sales channels and sales of Instrument Transformers and Coils/Reactors within a defined geographic area and support the  VP of Sales and Marketing. 

  • Coordinate and lead day-to-day operations of agents with the goal to maintain and expand the customer base. 

  • Ensure the implementation of the business unit strategy, guidelines and targets in order to increase sales with all kinds of potential customers and channels. 

  • Channel management including monitoring, appraising and ensuring compliance policies and procedures.

  • Achieving company’s sales and profitability goals by contributing with strategic information and recommendations to the marketing department.

  • Aggressive follow up of key target projects.

  • Plan, coordinate, and participate in conferences and trade shows.

  • Annual and monthly sales forecasting and reporting in addition to preparing and proposing regional strategies and action plans.

  • Perform forecasting, reporting and win-loss analysis, identifying market trends and competitor activities.

  • Identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long-term order intake.

  • Liaison between customer and factory for customer escalation(s) or order related inquiries.
