Systems Engineer

Employment: Full Time Experience: Senior

This position will serve as the technology leader for the organization. The person will engineer and lead new product implementations, including server/desktop hardware, networking components, and other supporting technologies. This position is also responsible for the management of technology vendors and service provider contracts.

- Manage and maintain all server and system backups

- Manage cat5/6 based network

- Switch, firewall, and wireless access point installation, configuration and administration

- Manage organizations printer server

- Manage organizations ip pbx

- Provide support at all levels including tier 1,2, and 3 support issues

- Administer GSuite

- Content Management System Administration

- Develop and maintain documentation and instructions for hardware, OS, and application installations

- Distribute and maintain the organization’s Macintosh desktop fleet


- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline

- Minimum 3 year of hands on engineering experience in a Macintosh or mixed server environment

- Minimum 5 years of experience providing tier 1 and 2 Macintosh desktop support

- Extensive enterprise level OS X support

- Open Directory experience

- TCP/IP Networking experience

- Experience supporting Android and iOS based devices

- Experience administering GSuite, CMS, Creative Cloud and other hosted solutions

- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications and designs

Macintosh System Administration Required

- Install and administer Macintosh OS X Server 10.12 & 10.13 including Server ver. 5.4

- Maintain system images, distribute, and provide support for all user hardware and software.

- Maintain all network services (File Sharing, VPN, DNS)

- Maintain OD based directory and all related permissions


- Experience within a media environment

- Experience support Windows 7,8, 10

- Experience with centOS, Red Hat or equivalent

- Experience designing, developing and implementing enterprise-level server solutions

- Experience installing and operating A/V systems including mixers, microphones, projectors, and cameras

- Any related certifications (e.g. Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), MCSA)
