Kumospace is reimagining video chat to be as immersive and fun as possible. Our virtual spaces provide context to interactions, helping people discover, build, and deepen relationships.

We believe that the future of congregating is so much more than being in a physical office or taking zoom calls from home. At Kumospace, dynamic, custom spaces and interactive features drive business productivity from recruiting at NASA, to team building at Google.

At the same time, our users are harnessing Kumospace to host events from birthday parties to bat mitzvahs, creating opportunities for serendipitous conversations and chance encounters.

🔥 The Role

Our rapid growth has revealed a number of low-hanging marketing opportunities, as well as areas ripe for disruption. Because of that, we are looking for a driven, creative, full-stack marketing pro to capitalize on content, social, PR and other multimedia initiatives.

You will work alongside veteran startup operators who move fast, think outside-of-the-box, and are laser-focused on building an amazing team culture.

💼 The Job

• Content Marketing: Create exciting, actionable content that positions as the premier resource for virtual birthday parties, All-hands meetings, and Fortune 500 conferences.

• Email Marketing: Work with the existing marketing team to expand and build upon the onboarding email drip campaigns and feature announcements.

• Social Media: Drive our social strategy, leveraging influencers and celebrities to deliver witty, engaging content that propels people to convert to customers.

• PR & Media Relations: Tap your network of press contacts to share the stories of how Kumospace is changing lives every day! While we've managed to collect organic hits including the New York Times, we are excited to see someone take ownership of and grow this channel.

• Multimedia Content Creation: Drive the execution of compelling demo videos, how-to's, and other visual multimedia content that serves to drive users to Kumospace.

• Content That Support Paid Marketing: Own the content created for this channel. Work with the team to roll out paid marketing efforts and associated content from micro-influencers, search, digital video ads, and more.

⚡What We're Looking For

• 5+ Years of multi-faceted marketing experience, owning both the strategy and execution of content, social, PR, and SEO to deliver our yet-to-be-created content to the users that need to see it the most.

• The ability to take not only take initiative but ownership of your scope of work and the drive to experiment and learn continuously.

• A solid network of media and press contacts as well as the ability to pitch potential speakers, leveraging one-to-many marketing opportunities.

• Experience in event and/or field marketing, allowing you to better understand our varied use cases and create compelling content.

• Experience in or the desire to learn how to develop brand content like images, video, gifs and TikTok stories.


• Experience working for an early-stage startup.

• Experience helping to build a discipline from the ground up.
