Campaign Enablement Manager

As the Campaigns Enablement Manager for the Global Outbound team will own the strategic vision and execution of global sales enablement and adoption for the Outbound business responsible for pushing Zendesk upmarket. The role will own the end to end sales relationship management including TAM intel, target list and data gap management, design and development of scalable sales playbooks, the tracking of the follow-up process and finally the sales feedback loop.

 The Global Outbound Marketing Team owns the strategic, execution and management of the campaign and programming focused on acquiring net new prospects, driving upstream momentum. The team works in partnership with the regional marketing teams, sales and SDR teams to identify and target new prospects with compelling marketing and sales touch efforts to drive new customer pipeline across all regions. 


  • Own the design and framework and communications cadence that ensures enablement and adoption of global programs at the regional level globally
  • Own the Sales Playbook development and implementation supporting campaigns developed on the team
  • Own the operational hand-off of campaigns from marketing to sales (including the SFDC campaign tracking)
  • Own the data management and list procurement process globally
  • Select messaging and supporting assets to support each play for hand off to Campaigns Manager
  • Ensure tight alignment to SDR leadership to adjust campaigns as needed and ensure buy-in
  • Work with global Outbound Mgrs to determine localization needs and ensure they are well supported
  • Serve as the voice & advocate of the SDR and sales organization to help influence and guide campaign strategy
  • Partner with the Ops & Analytics Manager to drive follow-up, KPIs, pipeline metrics, reporting at the sales level
  • Create internal sales communications and outbounding sales resources to support programming and ensure thorough follow up
  • Analyze stages of the SDR enablement process to identify areas of improvement
  • Test, measure, iterate: Create processes and a cadence of regular reporting on what’s working and recommendations to improve


  • 5+ years of marketing experience, specifically working hand in hand enabling the sales organization
  • Proven experience supporting a sales organization
  • Experience in high-touch account based marketing
  • Experience in managing multiple projects, consulting, and leading teams in cross-functional settings - detail oriented, strong organizational skills
  • Experience designing sales playbooks and other enablement packages.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of technology in B2B marketing in a SaaS-based company
  • Strong accountability for generating pipeline and not just leads
  • Sales follow-up and pipeline discipline to achieve maximum impact
  • Outstanding communication skills that adapt to the situation and audience – written, verbal, and presentation  
  • Strong data-driven analytical thinking and familiarity with modern marketing tools and metrics
  • Proficiency in basic office tools, such as, WordPress, Excel, and Google Docs. Working knowledge of Eloqua and Google Analytics a plus

  • Ability to develop targeted strategies for key high-value segments
  • Passion for Zendesk, great customer service and marketing
  • Comfort in leading and influencing independently
  • Ability to deal with occasional ambiguity and courage to take risks and try new tactics
  • Willingness to roll up their sleeves and manage both tactical and strategic elements needed to launch and support a marketing program
