Plex Marketing Coordinator - Remote


Plex is a global streaming media platform that gives millions (and growing!) of customers around the world the freedom to enjoy all the content they love in one simple, beautiful app. 


Plex is a fully remote workforce made up of passionate media enthusiasts hailing from ~20 different countries around the world. Some of us are movie buffs. Some are TV show junkies. Some are addicted to podcasts. Some are passionate about music.  The one thing we all share is that we love our media! And we really love that the constantly evolving landscape of mobile and connected devices gives us the opportunity to improve the way you consume your media.


Our community uses Plex to enjoy over 30,000 free movies and shows, nearly 200 free Live TV channels, over 60 million music tracks, and thousands of podcasts across all genres and languages – anytime, anywhere. Our power users even stream their own personal media collections to create the ultimate unified viewing experience.  


Supported Plex platforms include the usual suspects and more: Macs, Windows PCs, Linux PCs, smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, Roku, Chromecast, Apple TV, Amazon Fire, NVIDIA SHIELD, Xbox, PlayStation, Sonos, Alexa, and more.

Key Qualifications


  • Detail-oriented with superior organizational skills -- ability to balance multiple projects, deadlines, and requests
  • Ability to work independently, manage uncertainty, and be curious 
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Ability to think strategically with drive to contribute
  • Eager to learn and desire to participate
  • Ability to wear multiple hats and make a big impact




  • Assist in various marketing activities such as market research, social media, landing pages, presentations, partner support, etc.
  • Support the marketing org through a variety of projects and tasks
  • Work with the marketing team to review data to improve the performance of marketing activities
  • Assist creative team with managing digital assets
  • Assist with monitoring social media
  • Become familiar with design tools and applications


Education & Requirements


Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business, or related fields

2 to 5 years of marketing or related experience

Effective interpersonal skills and comfortable presenting your work to senior leaders

Passion for movies, shows, and technology a plus
