Position Overview:

The Boeing Company is seeking an Electronics Production Test Manager (Level K) specializing in leading and engaging diverse engineering teams in an electronics production test environment.  As part of Boeing's Engineering Test & Technology and our Space & Launch Division, you will be joining a team of skilled managers in the Space Electronics family that promote open communication and fellowship amongst the engineers that they support.  Space and Launch manages the company's major commercial and government satellite and ground programs for communications, national defense and other missions. Satellite Systems oversees the design, development, manufacture, integration and testing of satellites. The Electronics Production Test Manager will have a genuine passion for leadership and the ability to influence technical teams in a lab environment.
This position is located in El Segundo, CA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • As the Electronics Production Test Manager you will lead and manage a diverse team supporting production test activities in the areas of Electronics and Electrical Engineering.

  • Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals.

  • Acquire resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

  • Develop and maintain relationships, partnerships with key customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

  • Manage, engage, motivate and build trust with employees.

This position requires the ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance post start, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • Experience working in a laboratory test environment

  • Experience leading or managing cross functional teams

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Skills and Experience):

  • 3 or more years of  experience supporting and/or leading in a lab environment

  • Master's in Business Administration or equivalent

  • Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills

  • Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years or agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program such that 5 year updates are no longer require. This would be preferred, but not required.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Basic relocation is available for internal candidates.
