What We’re Looking For:

The Senior Analyst, Marketing Technology will act as the owner of varying marketing technology products. They will have a strong understanding of the technology products across marketing use cases and value chains. They will monitor existing products and initiatives and serve as a point of contact between the marketing and tech teams for initiating new product trials, reporting and resolving bugs/errors, and building the requirements for and prioritizing enhancements to existing internal Marketing products.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Product Management
    • Manage operations, permissioning and usage of marketing technology products
    • Manage, prioritize and communicate critical bugs and issues to the engineering team and/or vendors
    • Act as the point person for product issues and questions, properly-addressing and funneling support issues through to the appropriate channels as needed
    • Maintain documentation around varying use cases, user groups, and satisfaction levels for marketing technology products
    • Ensure all marketing technology products are aligned with strategy and adheres to IT and compliance policies
  • Relationship Management
    • Interview marketing stakeholders and solicit feedback to identify challenges to processes and products, and identify requirements for new products
    • Train and educate internal 2U stakeholders on available marketing technology products, and ensure users understand the purpose of each product, and when and how to use them effectively
    • Maintain and audit documentation and communicate new standards and updates on a regular basis
  • Strategic Initiatives / Planning and Research
    • Work with various stakeholder groups to refine product and technical requirements to support overall marketing objectives
    • Research products and vendors, and conduct vendor assessments based on stakeholder requirements and business needs
    • Provide input into marketing technology roadmap based on stakeholder needs and priority
  • Continuous Learning / Innovative Thinking
    • Continually review product use cases to identify opportunities for improvement
    • Conducts analyses to gain an understanding of larger marketing team needs and identify opportunities for new product ownership
    • Build custom technical solutions
    • Ongoing research and analysis of overall marketing technology landscape 

Things That Should Be In Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 2-4 years industry experience
  • Experience working on cross functional teams with multiple stakeholders
  • Comfortable learning and discussing technical concepts related to web development and information systems
  • Exemplary planning, communication and organizational skills
  • Broad knowledge of the marketing technology space
  • Understanding of UI and UX strategies and best practices

Other Attributes That Will Help You In This Role:

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript and other programming languages / analytical tools preferred
