    Position Overview

    Autodesk is looking for a highly motivated and experienced product owner with a track record of building business capabilities on the Salesforce CRM Platform from initial concept to successful delivery and adoption and driving the digital transformation of the business.  This person will partner with Autodesk business functions to gather, understand, and define business requirements for value-added solutions. In this position, you will be responsible for understating roadmaps, process flows, functional requirement specifications, and write technical user stories to support the design and development of CRM solutions. This position is in the Engineering Group and is highly cross-functional – working closely with Business Group and Engineering teams to ensure that the company’s tactical and strategic CRM objectives are met.

    The ideal candidate has a keen understanding of how to leverage Saleforce.com product capabilities to meet business goals and objectives and capable of driving multiple projects in parallel and passionate about building a unique user experience on the Salesforce.com platform.

    Responsibilities

    • Strategic leadership around the continuous evolution and maturation of our Salesforce CRM Platform and the services provided based on the changing business needs and industry trends
    • Understand the CRM Platform vision for your domain. Ensure that it aligns with the overall product and company vision. Be an expert on the domain, the market, the trends. Evangelize the vision constantly so all stakeholders are aligned, have context, and understand where we are going
    • Bring a strong knowledge of Salesforce CRM capabilities to advise when Salesforce functionality can be leveraged vs. custom build options. Stay current with emerging CRM and Salesforce.com technologies and solutions
    • Measure success. A feature's release does not dictate success. Define what success means for each feature and each function before it even goes to development. Develop ways to constantly define and monitor the success
    • Manage the Salesforce development backlog and priorities in partnership with the business owners, architects, engineering and key stakeholders
    • Drive for the best customer experience possible. Work closely with teams to develop, test, and deliver assets to engineering
    • Work closely with business owners, engineering managers, technical leads, product owners, and key stakeholders to drive project planning and execution of complex enterprise software development projects
    • Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate risks and unknowns
    • Clear communication to executive stakeholders, using spoken, written, and visual mediums 

    Minimum Qualifications 

    • Must have experience creating technical user stories, roadmaps, process flows and writing detailed wiki documentation, and managing a story backlog
    • Must be able to draw Project roadmap and interact with Business owner, onshore team & Global Engineering team to drive the project end to end
    • 5+ years of previous Agile Product Owner, Business Systems Analyst, or Business Analyst experience specifically in the areas of CRM, Salesforce Sales Cloud products, Cloud or web applications
    • Proven product owner experience managing enterprise-scale Salesforce CRM implementations
    • BS / BA /Master’s Degree in a related field (Business, Sales/Marketing, Data Analytics, Statistics, Computers, Product Development, etc.). MBA is a plus
    • Prior experience in platform product management and architecture in a high growth environment
    • Experience in Salesforce CRM Implementation and a good understanding of Salesforce.com capabilities
    • Strong CRM background and ability to understand complex product functionality, design, and technical issues, in order to drive the right priorities, trade-offs, and resolutions
    • Working knowledge of Salesforce cloud products and APIs 
    • Salesforce Certification preferred – Admin, App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant certifications
    • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Certified Agile Product Manager and/or Agile Product Owner.
    • Experience with common Product/Project Management tools like Aha!, JIRA, Wiki, MURAL, Power Point, Google Slides, Lucidchart etc.
    • Knowledge of Salesforce Einstein and Salesforce Lightning is a strong plus
    • Strong user experience/design sense, with a record of building great products
    • Ability to lead and work autonomously
    • Strong ability to represent and document business processes, interaction flows, data flow processes, use cases, business requirements, user stories, etc
    • Effective in managing multiple parallel work streams and initiatives
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high energy, team-oriented environment
    • Previous work experience collaborating with a highly functional Scrum team
    • Previous consulting experience
