    Position Overview

    We work on a cutting-edge CAD/CAM product called Fusion 360. We are extending our team and currently in search of a Build and Release Engineer (BRE) to maintain and improve our development lifecycle. The successful candidate will help us efficiently deliver the product to customers and enable the developers to be more productive.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with various teams around the company on implementation, usage, and improvement of CI/CD systems for Fusion 360 product family
    • Support the engineering organization with day-to-day operations
    • Monitor and automate system operations to detect potential problems.
    • Automating tasks using scripting languages (Shell, Python, Groovy etc.)
    • Perform access administration, troubleshooting, and trouble ticket administration
    • Maintain and monitor software builds
    • Maintain and monitor build infrastructure

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Relevant experience in the areas of Software build and release engineering and/or DevOps engineering
    • Fundamentals of computer networking
    • Basics of computer architecture
    • Strong scripting skills using Shell, Python
    • Familiarity with Windows, MacOS and Linux based development environments
    • Experience with Git and GitHub
    • Experience with CMake build system
    • Basic knowledge of C++
    • Exposure to large scale software build, integration, and test environments (C++ based preferable)
    • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
    • Good English speaking and writing skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Cross-platform C++ coding experience
    • Strong C++ debugging skills
    • Experience of Qt and Boost libraries
    • Proficient in Jenkins pipelines (Groovy scripting, PSL)
    • Experience with Chef, Packer, and other configuration management tools
    • Experience with Docker
    • Experience with Cloud platforms AWS, Azure
