Seeking a Computer Network Operations (CNO) Development Lead for Raytheon Cyber Security Innovations (CSI) to guide a small team creating operational capabilities in Arlington, VA.



Our CNO teams develop state-of-the-art capabilities for a multitude of devices and platforms. Candidates must be experienced developers and leaders with strong interpersonal skills, detailed understanding of end-to-end full-stack CNO development experience, and comfortable operating within constraints of mission-critical CNO tools

Our research and development projects cover the spectrum of security technologies. If it runs code, somebody in our office has looked at it.




Required Skills:

  • 2+ years experience leading software engineers
  • 4+ years experience with full-stack CNO development
  • Proficient designing and developing reliable C applications to meet operational requirements
  • Comfortable interfacing with customers during demos, presentations, and technical reviews
  • Strong understanding of software development processes; familiar with conducting team code audits



Desired Skills:

  • Proficient in cross-platform C development
  • Experience in personnel management or development
  • Experience with 1+ scripting languages (e.g. Python or Ruby)
  • Experience with platform-agnostic development and cross-compiler toolchains
  • Experience with socket programming in C/C++
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP, UDP, TLS)
  • Familiarity with cryptographic algorithms and libraries
  • Experience developing for embedded platforms
  • Experience with binary troubleshooting (IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, gdb)
  • Experience developing with POSIX or WIN32 system APIs
  • Experience developing for Android SDK/NDK or iOS/Swift
  • Experience with kernel development (Windows, Linux, macOS)
  • Familiarity with assembly for one or more architectures such as ARM, MIPS, PPC, and x86/x64
  • Experience with reverse engineering
