Zendesk is looking for a new addition to the team as a Senior Manager of Business Analytics and Strategy. In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of Zendesk's business drivers and help the management team make financially sound, operationally efficient decisions. You will have the opportunity to actively contribute to executive-level discussions and establish relationships across the company.
On a day-to-day basis, you will solve complex problems and serve as a constant check on the health of our business. You will help manage the measurement and regular reporting of our operational and financial KPIs. You will play a critical part in the investigative data analyses and detailed modeling that inform key decisions. Your takeaways and insightful recommendations will then be packaged in clear, impactful presentations that tell a story through data.
Partner with leadership to establish business and reporting cadence, measure critical initiatives, and package content for executive and Board discussions
Own regular executive-level communications of KPIs, Investor Relations metrics, key business insights and progress against goals.
Drive cross-functional analytical efforts to refine business definitions, investigate business-critical issues, highlight accomplishments, identify challenges and forge actionable recommendations
Develop and maintain in-depth financial, operating and forecasting models
Build consensus and facilitate strategic decision-making across multiple stakeholders
Expertise in financial modeling (Excel) and developing executive level presentations (PowerPoint)
Mastery of SQL; professional exposure to data analytics and front-end reporting tools
Minimum 6 years relevant work experience; preferred experience in investment banking, management consulting, business operations or corporate development at a fast-paced technology company
Strong work ethic, overdeveloped attention to detail and disposition to get things done
Sound business judgment and self-motivation to work on complex business issues with minimum supervision and under tight deadlines
Ability to distill and articulate complex topics to all audiences
